‘PixStar’ is like two songs for the price of one. It evokes both the passive and aggressive nature of a Sagittarius. It begins with a dreamy, inviting introduction, while the scratches act as the main narrator. The panning of the scratches in the stereo field is intended to create a sense of movement, like planets constantly rotating in their orbits. The instrumental develops, becoming more intensely layered, until the mood turns on a dime, transforming into something more brooding, dark, and bass-heavy.
