‘Pipe Dreams’ is a track whose name embodies exactly that; a dream that is seemingly unattainable, illusory, fanciful. Once we wake up, something that felt so real is now merely part of our subconscious and often only a brief part of our memory. Much of what we know about the unconscious mind is still a mystery to us, just like the cosmos and the universe beyond. DJ Killa-Jewel’s goal was to produce a piece of music that is constantly changing and evolving, keeping the listener continually engaged, and creating the same sense of wonder we feel when looking up at the stars.
